Ask the Acorn: Answers #1

If my significant other doesn’t like Harambe or anything I say or do that has to do with the death of Harambe, should I let them go? Please respond as soon as possible!

Answer- Ask yourself this, is Harambe more important than your significant other? If he is, then follow your heart.

Dear Acorn,

I’m having problems with a guy! So I like this guy, and I’m pretty sure the only reason I like him is because he’s nice to me, and he’s funny and I enjoy my time around him. But the main thing is, I’m not physically attracted to him. For me that’s a problem, it might not be for other people, but that’s something I can’t just work through? I mean, he likes me, and I like him, but I just can’t!!! I’m sorry I’m so dramatic, it’s a real problem, but what should I do? I’m thinking about just cutting him off like all at once, but some people tell me that’s a bad idea, what do you think?

Answer- Ask yourself this, do you think you’d be happy without him around? Would it hurt you to cut him off because if so then you might be hurting yourself more than your hurting him. If he makes your heart happy then what pleases your eye shouldn’t matter. Take this for example: If you let him go then you might never find someone like him, someone that makes you feel the same way, even if they are physically attractive. I can’t tell you what to do but my one advice is to follow your heart.
